Thanks to all who came out (students, chaperones and parents) for our visit to the future location of Greg Cuoio Park in Lacey! It's going to a great community asset! Also, thanks to Lacey Parks and Rec for making it happen!
Join Outdoor Adventure Club and the City of Lacey on Saturday, December 9th at 10:00 AM for a fun "preview" of what's going to be a new and spectacular local park! Bonus: it's only about two miles from NTHS! The land for the 400+ acre Greg J. Cuoio Community Park in Lacey was acquired back in 2011, and is still awaiting development. This is your chance to explore the currently “no access” property with City of Lacey officials and help begin to develop a vision for the future of this beautiful public land just down the street from NTHS! We’ll spend a couple of hours walking around the property and exploring what it has to offer. If interested, you'll need to get a permission slip from Mr. Coker in the NTHS Library and carefully review the specific trip information linked here. Check in with Mr. Coker if you have any questions.
