Here's the latest news and requests concerning Outdoor
Adventure Club:
1. We now have officers! They'll finish this year out,
then we'll have elections in the Spring for 2014-15:
- Carly Stinson: President
- Savannah Lomeli:
Vice-President
- Carter Vu: Treasurer
- Tanner Jenkins: Secretary
2. See your email for list of (current) club members
3. We now have a website: http://nthsoutdoors.blogspot.com/ We've
set up the calendar and started adding content--it'll be an ongoing project.
Check it out and let us know what you think.
4. Photo request - One of the things we'd like to do
on the website is collect and display membership photography. If you have some
outdoor photography images you'd like to share, please send them to me so we can get
some on the website. Moving forward, we can set up the website so you can
post directly. At this point, just a few to get things started would be
great!
5. Stay tuned for information regarding additional meetings.
Since we got a late start this year, we will likely meet a few times outside of
the regular activity period times.
6. Fundraisers--we might be able to get a fundraiser or two
in this year. Please share any fundraising ideas with the officers. T-shirts or
sweatshirts might be a good place to start?
7. Parents - please share club information with your
parents. After the holidays I'd like to schedule an evening meeting to
which we can invite parents as well as possibly some representatives from other
groups in the community. Stay tuned for more information about that, too.
